If you think watching a theatrical performance on stage is cool, envision how amazing it must be to see a theatrical performance done on water skis. Actually, you don’t have to envision it. Theatrical Performance on Water Skis
Badgerland beat out 10 other teams to earn top honors. Each team presents a one-hour theatrical performance, with scoring based on originality, presentation and execution.
An announcer acts as narrator throughout the show, which features a montage of fast action, elaborate costumes, invigorating music and impeccable staging.Â
The Badgerland team scored high points on all of the above, specifically for:
- Overall Show
- Doubles and Swivel
- Showmanship
- Production
- Sound Crew
- Dock and Equipment Crew
Top Three WinnersÂ
- First place: 1,501.83 points - Badgerland Water Ski Show Team; Merton, Wis.
- Second place: 1,478.63 points - Shawano Ski Sharks; Shawano, Wis.
- Third place: 1,302.43 points - Five Seasons Ski Team; Cedar Rapids, Iowa
